As of January, 2006, we have, listed below, over 670 images of Southern New England and the Last Green Valley, including every QSHC town. There are an excess of images of the NorthEast Ct towns because that's where I live and keep the plane, but I'm always working to include more of the Corridor. New for 2008 I'm also shooting with a Canon D5, which allows me to take several 37Mb images per second. Adobe Lightroom enables me to make slideshow galleries with photos taken in series so that, once the whole Flash gallery has loaded, you can move quickly from image to image, simulating the experience of flying over our Last Green Valley.Look for links in this font and color for the Flash Galleries. The first three numbers after the title are the date, so if you're looking for Fall color, look for IDs starting with 10. For that green-gold of first leaf, try 4 or 5, for snow, try 12, 1 or 2. These are nine-to-fourteen-inch wide72 DPI images that can take as long as two minutes to load on a 56k modem. The 6x9cm negatives from which they have been scanned have more than five times the information on 35mm and produce highly detailed 13x20, 16x24 and 20x30 prints with very little "grain." You can get some vague sense of content and color from these screen images, but you cannot appreciate the quality of my work unless you have seen prints .
